Congratulations to Arthur Nuttall, having turned 70 recently, our Chairman fought off George Clark one of our octogenarians, in a card play off, both having scored 33 points. Jim Wilson continues his consisted run in 2018, coming third for the second week running.
(The word octogenarian has been introduced at the recommendation of Gerald Latham, to replace “Senior Seniors”. A great suggestion but a real challenge for my spelling skills, that don’t exist).
Our winners this week could be recognised in wine speak. Arthur Nuttall - full bodied, George Clark -mature, and Jim Wilson a young wine?
