Please may I remind all golfers that the course winter protection measures are still in place, i.e.: - Golf balls being played from fairways or closely mown areas, must be played from a mat. If any golfer does not wish to use a mat, they must go to the nearest edge of the fairway and may place the golf ball in the rough. We need to ensure that we avoid creating this sort of problem on our fairways, so please play your part.

You may have seen notices regarding the Family Carvery scheduled to be held on Sunday 29th January. There is now a special offer available for children under the age of 10 to enjoy the fabulous carvery with an ice cream dessert, free of charge. The price for adults remains the same at just £22.00 per person to include a welcome drink, 3 meat carvery with all the trimmings and a selection from the desserts of the day. As with all social events, please book with Karen or a member of the team at the bar, in person, by telephone 01925 755020 (Option 3) or by e-mail clubhouse@ltmmgolfclub.co.uk

Please may I remind you all to try and bring your membership card with you each time you visit. We are trying to keep all external doors closed as far as possible, in order that the heat maybe retained within the clubhouse, in which case you will require your members card to access and enter the clubhouse. Many thanks in anticipation of your understanding and cooperation.

For those of you playing golf over the weekend, play will commence from the first tee. The course inspection carried out first thing in the morning will determine whether main greens or temporary greens will be in play, please check the course status report which will be updated at the earliest opportunity following the inspection.

Please be aware that notices are now prominent within the clubhouse alerting members to the captains’ farewell social event ‘BINGO’. This promises to be a very popular event with tickets available at just £10 per person which includes a welcome drink, chip barm, and your first bingo card. To reserve your ticket please contact Karen or a member of the team using any of the contact options as listed previously.

The menu for the Valentines Dinner scheduled for Friday 10th February will be posted in the clubhouse over the weekend and I will e-mail a copy out to you all, early next week.
