By embracing a modern approach to golf club membership Lymm Golf Club has made it possible for a wider variety of golfer to enjoy the benefits of belonging to a club with one of the best courses in Cheshire.

Flexible Membership has been specifically designed to suit the modern lifestyles of those people whose working and family life leaves them with little spare time to play golf and who cannot justify a full subscription.  It is also an ideal membership for those who are trying golf for the first time and who do not wish to commit to full membership.

Flexible Membership will give golfers the full range of facilities and experiences only available to members of Lymm Golf Club.  It is a membership for those who want to be fully involved with their golf club.  It provides all the benefits of belonging to an established golf club, with a modern approach to membership at a justifiable cost.

It also gives the opportunity to transfer to the more traditional types of membership, providing unlimited golf, at any time if the opportunity to play more golf means that these forms of membership become more attractive.

Flexible Member Benefits

Flexible Members are entitled to the same benefits as all other members of Lymm Golf Club.

These are:

Full use of all of the facilities at any time including the long and short game practice areas, the putting green and the clubhouse.

The opportunity to be allocated an official WHS handicap.

The opportunity to play in certain club competitions.

The opportunity to play in various informal competitions e.g. the Professional’s Thursday Evening Stableford.

Eligibility to bring playing and social guests to the club.

A County Card which entitles you to discounted green fees at golf clubs in Cheshire and other participating counties.

The opportunity to play in Open Competitions.

A 10% discount on food and beverages by purchasing a member’s card.

A full calendar of social events.

Flexible Membership in Practice

The initial fee of £350 places 100 points on your membership account.  There is an additional charge of approximately £15 to cover England and Cheshire County Golf affiliation and golfer’s third party liability insurance.

Each time you play, points are deducted from your membership account.  If you find that this does not provide you with enough rounds you can purchase further points at the rate of £3.50 per point in bundles of 25,50,75 or 100.  You can then play extra rounds when you want.

You will be able to book your rounds through our online booking system before you play so that your account can be automatically updated.

You can work out how much golf you can play for 100 points from the table below depending on the time of day or the day of the week that you play.  

Flexible membership will be renewed annually on 1st April but unused points can be carried forward subject to terms and conditions.

The allocation of points may be reviewed from time to time and the management committee may also make reasonable changes to the terms and conditions of this scheme as appropriate.
